Adding a URL to the description of an item |
Previous Next |
To add a URL to the description of an item, type it in the corresponding field, for example, www.mypage.ru. If the program recognizes the link, it will become blue and underlined. In some cases, for the link to be automatically recognized, you have to add one of the URL prefixes (http://, ftp://, mailto:// and so on). To create a link to a local file, you should use the prefix file://. For example, file://c:\folder1\document1.doc.
Important! The link may not contain a space in its actual form! If you need to add a link with spaces in it, replace them with the %20 sequence.
For example: file://c:\My%20documents\report%20on%20project.doc
